We get it—planning a hunt or outdoor weekend comes with questions. Here are honest, no-fluff answers to the things most people want to know before heading out to Tahoma Plantation.

Whitetail deer, wood duck, dove, Eastern wild turkey, and bobwhite quail are the main targets on our property. Depending on the season, you may also see hogs or other native wildlife. All hunts follow state regulations, and we don’t overbook the land, so pressure stays low.

Yes. Our cabins are right here on the land—no hotels, no driving in before daylight. They sleep up to 24 across multiple units and include basic amenities so you can focus on the hunt, not logistics.

Absolutely. You’re welcome to bring your own firearms, optics, and gear. If you prefer to hunt without a guide, you’ll have full access to the areas we assign you, with maps and boundaries marked.

We welcome youth hunters and first-timers with a valid license. We strongly recommend adult supervision, and our team can help identify suitable zones for a relaxed, safe introduction to the outdoors.

We have a covered shooting deck where you can check zero, test loads, or get comfortable with your setup before the hunt. There’s room for rifles, pistols, and even clays if you bring your own thrower.

At this time, we do not offer RV hookups or camping areas. We recommend using our on-site lodging to stay close to the land and simplify your setup.
